2016 - Arizona Bioscience Company of the Year
The Arizona Bioindustry Association (AZBio) honored GlobalMed as the Arizona Bioscience Company of the Year at the 2016 AZBio Awards on September 21, 2016. Hundreds of Arizona life science and business leaders as well as guests from across the country were at the Phoenix Convention Center to recognize GlobalMed for the many ways the team, the company and their technology are making life better for people here in Arizona and around the world.
GlobalMed Recognized for Entrepreneurial Excellence with 2013 IMPACT Award from GPCC
GlobalMed received the 2013 IMPACT award for Entrepreneurial Excellence in the small to medium-sized business category from the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. This is the first year GlobalMed has applied for the award, which recognizes companies that have made a significant impact on the greater Phoenix business community.

The US Trade and Commerce Research Institute selected Scottsdale-based GlobalMed as the recipient of its 2013 Arizona Excellence Award, which recognizes the commitment and contribution of small businesses through community and customer service.
GlobalMed Named Finalist for 2013 BBB Business Ethics Award
GlobalMed has been chosen as a finalist for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Business Ethics Award for 2013. This is the first time the company has applied for the award, which was established in 2002.
GlobalMed Receives W.P. Carey Spirit of Enterprise Award for Innovative Leadership
GlobalMed received the Emerging Entrepreneur Award from the prestigious W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. GlobalMed received the award at the W.P. Carey School’s 2012 Spirit of Enterprise Awards ceremony on Nov. 1, with more than 600 business and community leaders present at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix. The awards honored five companies based in Arizona that have made noteworthy contributions by creating jobs, donating to charities, overcoming adversity and promoting innovation.

GlobalMed has been top-ranked for two consecutive years. This year, GlobalMed jumped 64 places in the 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 to be ranked as the Number 58 company. In 2011, we debuted on the list at Number 122. Our 2,533% growth in revenues from 2007 to 2012 also propelled us into second place among the fastest growing firms in Deloitte’s Medical Device category.

To be considered, a company must have at least $20M in revenue and have been in business for five years or more. GlobalMed is honored to have been ranked in the top 3 for two consecutive years.
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Mountain Desert Region
In 2011, GlobalMed’s CEO and Founding Director Joel E. Barthelemy became the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2011 winner for Technology Services in the Desert Mountain Region. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs has grown to 26 programs in the U.S. and now spans 50 countries.
Governor's Celebration of Innovation: Arizona In Motion
In 2010, the Arizona Governors Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) presented GlobalMed with its highest honor: the Pioneering Innovation Award. It is presented to an outstanding company that has gone above and beyond the call of duty in contributing to Arizona’s technology industry through sustained business presence, corporate citizenship, community involvement and business success.
